Join Conservancy staff as they work at the Hawthorne Avenue Farm and Outdoor Learning Center. Tasks vary daily but may include planting, watering, weeding, mulching, or composting. No garden experience? Don’t worry our friendly and knowledgeable staff will show you the ropes!
All volunteers must complete the pre-screening survey when they register.

Get outside and enjoy some nature at our Outdoor Learning Center or Urban Farm! Volunteers are a vital part of Greater Newark Conservancy’s mission and operations. You can volunteer as an individual or as a group.
