Hosted by Emmy Award winning journalist and producer, Buki Elegbede, the evening will begin in conversation with Natalie Baszile, author of We Are Each Other’s Harvest—an anthology capturing the plight of black farmers from Emancipation to present. We will end the night by celebrating this year’s honorees, including Newark based growers who have made a significant impact on our community and the local food system.
